A credit rating is a SEBI-registered agency's verdict - CRISIL, ICRA, CARE or India Ratings - on how likely a bond issuer is to repay you on time. It runs from SOV and AAA at the top, where default risk is lowest, down to BBB-, the last rung still classed as investment grade. Lower-rated bonds pay more precisely because you carry more risk, so the right grade is the one that matches your own appetite for it - not simply the highest yield on the page. A rating measures default probability, not day-to-day price stability, and it is never a guarantee. Pick a rating band below to see every tracked bond at that grade, sorted by yield to maturity, with coupon, tenure and minimum investment side by side.
